Chakra Spa is open daily from 8am until 9pm.  Children are welcome to use the pool from 8am to 10am and 6pm to 9pm – it's adults only outside those times.

Plenty of parking, check in simple, courteous staff. Stayed in adapted room, was clean, cool, air con was a bit noisy, but not enough to disturb. Ate in restaurant, varied menu, nice meal. We stayed overnight for our departure for Gatwick early the follow morning. Would recommend, nice hotel, much nicer on the inside than what it looks on the outside.

The double bed is very comfortable and the service is good. However the sofa bed is narrow, the matress is thin and uncomfortable as 2 kids weighting around 30kg felt the hard and rough surface of ITS base. The breakfast starts at 6:30am, so it does not support those who need to arrive at Gatwick before 7:00am.

Staff very helpful bed comfortable and good bathroom facilities. Next time we will ask for a ground floor room as no lift and were given a card by reception to call them beforehand to arrange in future. We ate in the restaurant food very nice and really enjoyed breakfast which was very good value for money and a good quality

It's easy to get to and close to aph parking for next morning. It's an older building but spotlessly clean. Friendly staff even at silly o'clock in the morning. Have used this hotel a couple of times now and will definitely use again.

Lovely hotel. Booked as part of a very good deal with APH parking. Really nice rooms, very good breakfast and the spa is beautiful. Wouldn't stay anywhere else before starting a holiday now. Look forward to returning.

Stayed before as hotel is excellent. Second stay unfortunately wasn’t as great owing to loud noise from some type of event until approx 00.10, this is when I last checked the time.We were staying as had early flight out so little sleep which left us feeling we should of stayed at home and driven to Airport.

Directions

From the M25:

  1. Leave at Junction 6, taking the A22 exit to Eastbourne/A25/Godstone/Caterham/Westerham
  2. At the slip road roundabout, take the third exit onto A22
  3. At the next roundabout, take the second exit and continue on A22
  4. Follow the A22 for just over 8 miles and then the hotel will be on your left.

From the M23:

  1. Exit at Junction 10
  2. Take the A264 for East Grinstead
  3. Carry along this road for six miles
  4. Turn right at the first set of lights, the hotel is on the left after 400 yards
